Some things are better in small doses.

Nate Daly shows us that a build doesn't have to be massive to have an excellent sense of style and purpose. The Small Starfighter building contest in the Starfighters group on Flickr is bringing in a ton of excellent and zippy looking ships, and Nate has been rather prolific in the opening month.

The ship seen here can fit into a 14x14x6 box, but doesn't appear to be chibi and strangely proportioned as one would expect with size constraints such as those.
The detailing on the engines using the slant of the shovel head to match the 1x1 clip's angle is absolutely ingenious.

I give this ship a 9/10 on the swoosh scale.
